Proposed investment of over VND18,000 billion Dau Giay – Phan Thiet expressway is 99km long

The Thang Long Project Management Board has sent a document to the Ministry of Transport approving the feasibility study report on the Dau Giay – Phan Thiet expressway project under the North-South expressway project East in the period 2017 – 2020 in the form of PPP.

Phase 1, the project will build 4 lanes, width 25-27m. Total investment of the first phase is VND18,139 billion, of which the construction cost is VND11,012 billion.

In return, the investor was paid a price of VND 1,500 / km / PCU with a 12% / 3 year increase in price over a period of 17 years and 1 month. Thang Long Project Management recommends apply the interest rate of 7.97% per annum; The expected return on equity is 11.77% per annum.

“If approved, the project will start to select investors from the second quarter of 2019, start construction in the first quarter of 2020 and complete after 36 months of construction,” said the project management Thang Long project.
