Diverse transfer in the planning area

According to the reports of the provinces of Quang Ninh, Khanh Hoa, Kien Giang, after having information on the preparation of the establishment of special administrative-economic units, the situation of carrying out transfer procedures, change of use purposes Land at state agencies in localities has increased significantly.

Specifically, in the Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province (where the Van Phong special zone is planned to be established), in 2017 there will be 1,467 cases of land use right transfer with a total area of ​​258.8 ha and 215 cases of transfer land use purpose.

In the first four months of 2018, the number of transfer cases jumped to 1,859 with a total area of ​​356 hectares. In addition, Van Ninh district has 162 cases of land use purpose change, mainly transferring and converting land from production forest land and aquaculture land to agricultural land.

In Van Don district, Quang Ninh province (where Van Don special zone is planned to be established), in 2016, there will be 684 households and individuals transferring their land use rights. In 2017 there are 1,625 cases of households and individuals transferring land use rights. In the first quarter of 2018 there were 519 households and individuals transferring land use rights.

In Phu Quoc island district, Kien Giang province (where Phu Quoc special zone is planned to be established), from January 1, 2017 to April 30, 2018, there are 5 organizations receiving land use rights with a total area of ​​8 , 5 ha. In addition, there are 12,268 households and individuals receiving land use rights, with a total area of ​​699.96 hectares.

According to Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the situation of violations in land use in the area planned for the establishment of special zones is complicated.
