Railroad transport for the year of the pig 2019?

Exchanging with VietnamFinance, leader of Vietnam Railway Corporation (VNR) said that in order to serve the maximum demand of people traveling during the Lunar New Year Festival 2019, on peak days VNR will organize running 24 ships on the North-South railway with a total of about 14,000 seats per day.

Thus, from 23 January 2019 to the end of 22 February 2019, in addition to the regular run of 5 pairs of ships Thong Nhat and 5 pairs of ships on the line (Hanoi – Vinh, Saigon – Quy Nhon Sai Gon – Nha Trang and Saigon – Phan Thiet), VNR will run 15 more ships (including 7 pairs of Thong Nhat ships and 8 pairs of passenger ships on the North – South route).

Railways plans to increase capacity for the Lunar New Year 2019

Specifically, the organization runs 5 pairs of ships (mark SE11 / SE12, TN5 / TN6, SE19 / SE20, TN1 / TN2, TN3 / TN4) running daily between Hanoi – Saigon and vice versa; Three pairs of ships (SE11 / SE12, TN5 / TN6, SE19 / SE20) will run during Tet holidays, bringing the total number of Thong Nhat boats running during Tet to 8 pairs / day.

Before and after the holiday, VNR also organized to run daily reinforcement of 10 double passenger ships on the lines: Thanh Hoa – Saigon, Vinh – Saigon, Dong Hoi – Saigon, Nha Trang – Saigon …

In particular, the two passenger ships of section SE25 / SE26 between Quang Ngai – Saigon and SE21 / SE22 between Da Nang – Saigon will increase during the Lunar New Year 2019.

For other railways, in addition to the existing trains, the Railway Corporation will run additional trains to serve the maximum needs of passengers.

According to VNR leaders, the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company is receiving the collective ticket registration at the point of sale until September 20, 2018.
