Ho Chi Minh City will call on the investors of the projects on the road linking the Hi-Tech Park with the Science and Technology Park to contribute funds to support the construction or investment in the form of PPP to reduce the burden on the budget.
District 9 People’s Committee was assigned to review the commercial projects in the area, considering the profitable projects thanks to the above-mentioned traffic route to request the project investor to contribute funds and support HCM City to implement the project.

Prior to that, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also issued a document to the People’s Committee of District 9 to draw up land recovery plans after the Prime Minister approved the change of land use purpose of rice cultivation, to estimate the cost of compensation, site clearance and resettlement for 22 households in the category of land recovery for the construction of Science and Technology Park.

Specifically, District 9 People’s Committee must pay compensation in January 1/1818 and complete land recovery, land allocation to investors in the first quarter 2018. The Management Board of the Saigon Hi-Tech Park was assigned to set up a zoning plan for the science and technology park and submit it to the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City before November 1, 2017.
Ho Chi Minh City Science and Technology Park has a total budget of about $185,347,826. In particular, the cost of compensation for clearance for 22 households is more than $35,434,782; the clearance of landmine nearly $347.826, preparing to invest more than $565,217. The remainder is spent on the construction of works, items of the park.

The park is located in Long Phuoc Ward, District 9, between the existing High Tech Park and Ho Chi Minh City National University. The 200 hectares park is based on the experience of the existing high tech park as well as the progress in Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
