Residents Of Apartment Prosecute Flora Anh Dao’s Investor


Apartment cracked, not living was affecting the living and economic losses to the owner sued the company Phuc Nguyen District People’s Court claiming nearly VND1.2 billion.

On November 30, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Hong, the owner of Apartment 1.14 Flora Anh Dao apartment in District 9, said recently filed a lawsuit against apartment investor Flora Anh Dao is Real Estate Investment and Trading Company Limited Nguyen Phuc Estate District 9.

Ms. Hong said that the project investors have built and handed over poor quality houses, the risk of seriously affecting the lives of residents. The apartment has been sinking, cracking cannot live up to severe impact on living, health and economic loss to the landlord.

The failure of the investor to hand over the quality of the apartment is not fulfilled in accordance with the contract signed between the two parties. Since then, Ms. Hong asked the District 9 court to force Nguyen Phuc Company to compensate 100% of the apartment for her with the amount of VND 1.166.069.000.

Previously, as we have already reported, the HCM City Department of Construction has sent a letter requesting the owner of the Flora Anh Dao project to quickly rectify the damage and report on the quality of the apartment, after receiving a reflection of Ms. Hong living in apartment 1.14.

The Department of Construction also requested that the investor of the Flora Anh Dao project is Nguyen Phuc Real Estate Investment and Trading Company Limited (a subsidiary of Nam Long Investment Joint Stock Company). Report to the Department of Construction about the causes and remedies of damage and the agreement with the owner of the apartment.

The repair process must comply with the provisions of the purchase contract signed between the investor and the buyer, not affect the life of the nearby apartment. Investors should be responsible for supporting Ms. Hong if the repair lasts, affecting her daily life.

However, Hong said that since the instruction of the HCM City Department of Construction has been more than a month, the owner has not yet responded to the repair or compensation agreement.
