To set up a council for appraisal of Con Dao Airport’s detailed planning

The Ministry of Transport has issued a decision to establish a detailed planning council for Con Dao Airport in the period up to 2020 with orientation to 2030.

According to the decision, the Appraisal Council shall have the duty to advise the Minister of Communications and Transport on appraising the detailed planning of Con Dao airport till 2020 with orientations to 2030.

At the same time, the Council also performs other tasks as stipulated in the Decree No. 44/2015 / ND-CP dated 6 May 2015 by the Government, detailing some contents of construction planning and Decree No. 102/2015 / ND-CP dated October 20, 2015 of the Government on the management and operation of airports and airfields.

The Ministry of Transport decided to appoint Mr. Le Dinh Tho, Vice Minister of Transport.

The 27 members of the Council are representatives from Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Public Security.

It is known that the information, documents as well as operating budget of the Council will be provided by the Aviation Administration of Vietnam.

The evaluation council shall dissolve upon completion of the task.
