Started Officially Construction Of The New East Bus Station In District 9

Accordingly, the total investment capital of up to VND 4,000 billion was built in district 9 and a small part of Binh Duong province. The construction of this project is to replace the existing Eastern bus station in congestion.

The Saigon Transport Engineering Corporation, the project’s owner, confirmed that the construction units would endeavor to complete the package by the end of the year to keep up with the existing bus station relocation in Binh Thanh District.

Earlier, at a meeting with the Department of Transportation, Secretary of the HCM City Party Committee, Mr. Dinh La Thang requested the investor to quickly deploy the project immediately and put it into operation soon.

According to the detailed planning scale of 1/500 approved by Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, this new Mien Dong station will have an area of over 160,000 sqm, located mainly in Long Binh Ward (District 9) with more than 3 / 4 area, 1/4 area of the project will be located in Binh Thang Ward, Di An town, Binh Duong province.

It is known that the project consists of four zones A, B, C and D, of which area A with an area of over 122,000 sqm (accounting for over 76% of the total area) will be land yards, public and auxiliary works. , With the tallest building having 26 floors; Zone B is a bus station (two stories high); Zone C is a warehouse and cargo transaction (5 floors high); Zone D is a commercial area (15 floors high).
