To suspend the construction of New Life Tower due to unsafe labor working condition

As information from Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee, it has requested Hanoi Investment and Import Export JSC (Geleximco) to suspend the construction of New Life Tower to check the conditions of labor safety.

It is because on August 22, at the secondary elevator shaft on building 3 of New Life Tower apartment of Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City invested by Gelemximco owner has discovered 3 deaths.

The names of death workers include Huynh Giang Nguyen (born in 1989, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province); Nguyen Hoai Phong (born in 1999, Ho Chi Minh City); Tran Hieu Nam (born in 1995, Ho Chi Minh City). The above workers were installing the secondary elevator rail of 7^th when fell to the elevator sharp of 1^st floor.

The New Life Tower project owned by Hanoi Investment and Import JSC on N2 land patch, Zone A1 consists of 3 single units (single unit 1, 2, 3) with 27 floors, The single units are interconnected the basement and 1^st floor. 1887 apartments here cost from 1 to 2 billion.

In 2015, Geleximco firstly launched the Newlife Tower project to the market and introduced it as condotel with a profit commitment to customers from the owner is 14% in 2 first years. The following years will be agreed upon directly with the management and operation unit.
