Tan Hoan Bridge invests in a wind power project more than 8ha in Quang Tri

Tan Hoan Cau Joint Stock Company has just been approved by the People’s Committee of Quang Tri Province to invest in the project of the Huong Hiep 1 wind farm in Dakrong district with the estimated land area of ​​about 8 hectares. Total investment of the project is VND1,554 billion.

The Huong Hiep 1 wind farm will consist of 12 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2.5 MW; total capacity of 30 MW. Output products with an average power of 126,329,000 kWh per year.

The duration of operation of the project is 50 years, from the date of issuance of the decision on investment policy.

The infrastructure of the project will be constructed over a year, from April 2019 to September 2020. From October 2020 to November 2020, transportation and installation of equipment, testing, calibration.

It is expected that in December 2020, the wind farm will be connected and generate electricity.

Nguyen Duc Tam, Director of Quang Tri Department of Planning and Investment, said: “The Huong Hiep 1 wind farm project is located in Huong Hiep commune, Dakrong district, Quang Tri province. It is preferable to apply preferential treatment in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, so that they will enjoy the preferences prescribed by the Government in relevant documents. “

According to the “Wind Power Development Plan for Quang Tri Province up to 2020 with a vision to 2030”, Quang Tri will have three wind power planning areas covering 6,707 ha including: Son, Duong Lap, Duong Phung (Huong Hoa district) with an area of ​​2,789 ha; Zone 2 of Huong Linh, Duong Lap, Huong Lap, Huong Hoa district with an area of ​​2,882 ha; Area 3 of Gio Viet, Gio Hai, Gio Thanh (Gio Linh), Vinh Tan and coastal areas of Vinh Linh and Con Co island with 1,036 ha.

It is known that in addition to the project of Huong Hiep 1 wind farm, Tan Hoan Cau company has invested in two other wind power projects in Quang Tri province: Windmill 1 & 2 with total investment capital of VND 3,100 billion in Huong Linh Commune,Huong Hoa district.

On June 8th, Quang Tri People’s Committee has decided to invest in LIG -Quang Tri Solar Power Plant project by Licogi 13 Joint Stock Company. The project was implemented in Gio Hai commune and Gio Thanh commune, Gio Linh district, Quang Tri province with the scale of 58.6 ha; designed capacity of 49.5MW; Electricity output is 67,690 MWh / year. The project has a total investment capital of VND 1,200 billion and is expected to be operational in June 2019.
