According to information from Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company, Coteccons has officially kicked off the Hoi An Casino project. The total value of the package for this project is nearly 7,000 billion VND. According to Coteccons, reasonable bidding, construction methods and very convincing progress, Coteccons has won the trust of the investor and overcome many famous international and domestic contractors to win this project.

Specifically, in addition to the criteria of technical aesthetics, the owner also set the deadline to complete the project “speed” – only in 19 months.

Hoi An Casino is located near Hoi An Ancient Town, not far from Da Nang International Airport and My Son Sanctuary. With an area of 1000 hectares with a total investment of $ 4 billion, this resort with a casino, hotel, tourism and entertainment complex is currently one of the largest capital projects in Quang Nam.

South Hoi An was granted investment certification in late 2010, but many years have not yet been implemented, especially after Genting Berhad Malaysia withdrew from the project in September 2012, making it hard for VinaCapital to seek for replacement investors.

In early 2015, Chow Tai Fook Group (Hong Kong) and Sun City (Macau) were selected as the owners of the Nam Hoi alternative project, replacing Malaysia’s Genting Berhad. Sun City is a corporation specializing in business in the field of hotels, entertainment, the casino in Macau and boss of Chow Tai Fook owns 70% of the capital.
