The 4th Member HUD Group Listed On UPCoM

On May 16 morning, nearly 9 million shares of HUD2 Investment Development JSC (HD2) officially traded on UPCoM market at the reference price of 11,800 VND / share.

This is the fourth member enterprise of the Corporation for Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to enter the market for unlisted public companies.

HD2 was formerly known as Housing Development Investment Company No. 2, which was established in 2000. At present, HD2 has a chartered capital of more than 89.6 billion VND, of which the capital contribution of HUD Group is 51 %.

Main activities of HD2 in the field of investment projects housing, urban areas, and construction of civil works. Over the past years, the company has been implementing small and medium projects with high economic efficiency, most of which are authorized projects and secondary projects by HUD Group. HD2 has created a model of synchronous urban areas with technical infrastructure with reasonable construction density.

HD2 has been deploying many projects such as Bac Linh Dam new urban area, the housing project in Hoa Lu street office, Twin Tower apartment building in a new urban area southwest of Linh Dam lake Noi, Tran Hung Dao new urban area (Thai Binh city).

According to Nguyen Anh Phong, Deputy General Director of Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), HD2 is the 38th stock trading on UPCoM in 2016, bringing the total value of trading on HNX to over 66.486 billion and increase the total number of UPCoM registered companies to 293 companies.

Ngo Van Thanh, Chairman of HD2’s Board of Directors, pledged that the Company would comply with regulations on securities and securities obligations, especially regulations on reporting obligations, the disclosure of information, corporate governance and Regulations on accounting and auditing regime when participating in transactions on HNX.
