Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc highly appreciated Sungroup Group has invested many large projects in the country and Phu Quoc, including the world’s longest cable car to Fansipan peak, such as the roof of Indochina.

On the afternoon of April 13, during a visit to Kien Giang, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the Government delegation, Kien Giang province leaders visited the resort project invested by Sun Group in Phu Quoc and spoke with leaders and employees of this group.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc appreciated the Sun Group has invested many large projects in the country and Phu Quoc, including the world’s longest cable car to Fansipan peak, which is considered as the roof of Indochina.

“Yesterday, the government delegation came to the conference in Lao Cai and I climbed to the top of Fansipan, the highest peak in Indochina, 3,143m by the world’s most modern cable car built by Sun Group. This is a very powerful impression of the elaborate investment and responsibility for the development of the country in the remote and isolated areas of Indochina, “the PM said.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc talked with staffs of the Sun Group in Phu Quoc.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister shared, want to make tourism successful, bringing tourism into the key economic sector, the need to do 4 things. It is a unique tourism product, building a tourism brand outstanding, have community supporters and mechanisms and policies favorable for tourism development.

According to the Prime Minister, all four factors are very favorable in Kien Giang. “The comrades have thoughts, how to do, how to attract big corporations to invest in Phu Quoc, a famous island of the country,” the prime minister said. “This is a common lesson for localities to develop.”

Prime Minister affirmed that the Government always creates favorable conditions for businesses and investors to carry out investment and business projects in Vietnam, particularly in the field of tourism.

Currently, in the Phu Quoc Island District, Sun Group is investing in a 5 star resort resort, Phu Quoc Emerald Bay, located in the south of Phu Quoc Island, designed by the famous architect Bill Bensley. The resort is managed by Marriott International Hotel Group.

The French-built resort is based on a bogus story about a university called Lamarck University. Lamarck University inaugurated in 1889, named after the famous French scientist Jean Batiste Lamarck.
