The Prime Minister Set Up An Evaluation Council For The Long Thanh Airport Resettlement Project

This council was chaired by Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung as Chairman of the Council, Vice Minister of Planning and Investment as Vice Chairman of the Council.

The Prime Minister has decided to set up a State Appraisal Council to appraise the feasibility study report of the project on land acquisition, compensation, support, and resettlement for Long Thanh International Airport (feasibility study report of the project).

According to the ruling, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung is the Chairman of the Council. Vice Chairman of the Council as Vice Minister of Planning and Investment.

Council members are leaders from the Office of the Government, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of the Interior, the State Bank of Vietnam, Dong Nai People’s Committee.

The responsibilities and powers of the Council, the Council President, the Council Vice Chairman, members of the Council, the standing body of the Council and the inter-branch expert group; the hiring of verification consultants and expenses for appraisal, verification of project feasibility study reports and mode of operation of evaluation councils shall comply with the provisions of Decree No. 131/2015 / ND-CP dated December 25, 2015 by the Government guiding the important project of the nation.
