“With these 3 works, FPD has collected documents and transferred the investigation to the police in Hanoi,” he said.

The firefighters’ representatives also said that this showed a very high political will in handling and overcoming violations of fire prevention and fighting, dealing with unrest and lack of cooperation in overcoming violations.

According to the report of the Hanoi Fire Fighting Police, in 2017 and the first quarter of 2018 in the city happened 1,100 fires and explosions. In particular, there are 820 cases in 2017, 280 cases in the first quarter of 2018, and 87 cases in high buildings.

These fires have killed 24 people, injured 18 people, property damage estimated at 617 billion. As of 2/4, the city has 50/79 works have been tested on fire prevention.

As such, the city still has 29 works violated fire prevention, of which 15 works difficult to overcome.
