Life safety is at stake

At that time, many customers came to visit the building and found that there were many unfinished items. Having contacted Vietradico many times, the answer was just a promise. Until September 2016, Vietradico has announced the transfer of the house.

“Due to the urgency of living, even though the building is not complete, we are still forced to move here with the hope that Vietradico will urgently complete the building in accordance with the committed standards. Since then more than half a year, 400 households have come here but Vietradico has not completed the building, which seriously affects the quality of life, the safety of thousands of residents. “an resident said.

Specifically, as reflected, due to the work is not completed so there are daily construction workers in the building, especially on the 19th floor. It is worth noting that the investor has no measures to ensure construction safety. Occasionally there are strange objects falling from the ground into the inner courtyard or roof panels at the entrance to the basement.

There was even a case of a piece of wood going straight down in front of people walking down the street. Residents move around in the apartment but always fear that something will fall into their heads, or suddenly a glass will shatter on their bodies.

Residents of the Golden West face the risk of loss of life

Besides, the fire protection system in Golden West is very sketchy. According to residents, this system has not been accepted, people have not been rehearsed fire.

Recently, there have been frequent incidents of fire that have caused considerable damage to people and property. If there is a large fire, the fire protection system has not been accepted, the consequences will be very unpredictable.

Open air or deadly trap?

According to the design approved by the People’s Committee of Hanoi in 2014, the Golden West project has 58 open spaces – a shared space – scattered across floors of the building (all included in the price of each apartment) .

However, up to now, Vietradico’s investor has intentionally built most of the open air into apartments for sale. At the same time, the investor is also requesting the concerned state agencies to change the design of the airplanes. This change, according to residents, is a complete breach of law and seriously affects the legal rights of apartment buyers.

It is worth mentioning, in Official Letter No. 4054 / SXD-TTr dated 23/5/2016 of Department of Construction Hanoi, this violation of Vietradico has been confirmed. Vietradico then issued the Official Letter No. 0608/2016 / CV-CT dated 8/6/2016 committing to keep all the airplanes to the common facilities of the building. However, ten months have elapsed, and residents have never used any open air space.

More seriously, while thousands of residents have returned to Vietradico to leave open air banquets. Many investors use only small steel bars, temporarily attached to the corridor. This does not make sense to ensure the safety of residents’ lives.

Residents said they were afraid to go out into the corridor as if they were afraid of entering the pit of death, because only a few skeptics could lose their lives. Especially with young children – hyperactive, it is easy to crash when playing in these open air.

On the afternoon of April 26, dozens of residents pulled together to Vietradico’s headquarters in 29T2, Tran Duy Hung, a southeastern urban area (Cau Giay, Hanoi) to question and petition the owner. However, Vietradico did not address these complaints of residents.
