West of Hanoi is going to become the new economic center

On the ground of the plan approved by the Prime Minister in 2011, Hanoi is focusing on boosting the development of transport infrastructure in the western region with the an aim to become the new socio- financial center of the capital.

To be considered as an area with the most advantages in the development of transport infrastructure, the western area of Hanoi has major routes connecting to the core of urban and other urban districts as well as has many major roads linking to satellite cities and neighboring districts.

After the overhead ring road 3 has been put into operation, many main routes such as Le Trong Tan, To Huu and Van Phuc have been expanded. The operation of BRT express bus, the trial run of Cat Linh – Ha Dong metro line have contributed greatly to attract residents to move to the southwest which will create a new trend of living in suburban areas in the future.

The clearest evidence is that many real estate projects developed at Le Van Luong Street and always busy with customers in and out. According to the report of the Vietnam Real Estate Association in the first 6 months of 2017, land prices in urban areas and residential land adjacent to Cat Linh – Ha Dong railway have increased by 10-15% compared to fourth quarter of 2016 .

In addition, according to the latest adjustment, the accelerated construction of Nhon – Hanoi railway project in order to complete in 2021  had a great influence on the development of the satellite city area and neighboring provinces of western Hanoi.

Experience from other countries has shown that residential areas near overhead road or metro lines are all developed and especially real estate products there will have sustainable profitability. The locations near the subway station and bus station are convenient and well developed not only in European, American countries,  but also in Asia such as Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand …

In the west of Hanoi, the Nhon – Hanoi overhead railway will become the main route linking neighboring districts such as Hoai Duc and Dan Phuong to the west and south west of the capital city. The most notably,  approval of leveling Hoai Duc district to county level has made this area become the core of the new financial-economic center of the capital.

Thanks to its advantages of connecting with the most important streets toward the center such as National Highway 32, Thang Long Highway, To Huu – Le Van Luong and Nhon – Hanoi overhead Railway, Hoai Duc has been creating a trend of living in suburban are and working in the urban in the near future. Therefore, Hoai Duc is an important development area of West of Hanoi.

Mastering this trend, many educational institutions as well as commercial centers have been developed due to its potential for development. Typically, the Doan Thi Diem School system, one of the  leading education systems of the capital has agreed on principle contract to establish new branch at the land area of WestPoint project on Nam 32 Street, Hoai Duc.

In addition to that, the Vinschool International School System has chosen the North West area to develop Vinhomes Gardennia project. Moreover, the Aone Mall shopping center, the largest retailing corp. in Asia has also targeted Hoai Duc to expand its scale.

By such strong development, Hoai Duc in particular and the West area in general will change strongly and soon become a key area of the Capital in the coming time.
