After the overhead ring road 3 has been put into operation, many main routes such as Le Trong Tan, To Huu and Van Phuc have been expanded. The operation of BRT express bus, the trial run of Cat Linh – Ha Dong metro line have contributed greatly to attract residents to move to the southwest which will create a new trend of living in suburban areas in the future.
The clearest evidence is that many real estate projects developed at Le Van Luong Street and always busy with customers in and out. Therefore, Hoai Duc is an important development area of West of Hanoi.
Mastering this trend, many educational institutions as well as commercial centers have been developed due to its potential for development. Typically, the Doan Thi Diem School system, one of the leading education systems of the capital has agreed on principle contract to establish new branch at the land area of WestPoint project on Nam 32 Street, Hoai Duc.

In addition to that, the Vinschool International School System has chosen the North West area to develop Vinhomes Gardennia project. Moreover, the Aone Mall shopping center, the largest retailing corp. in Asia has also targeted Hoai Duc to expand its scale.
By such strong development, Hoai Duc in particular and the West area in general will change strongly and soon become a key area of the Capital in the coming time.
