Which Is The Area Has Many Foreigners Living In District 2?

Currently, District 2 is the area having the high speed of urbanization and the strong development of the transportation infrastructure in Ho Chi Minh City with the important road routes and the key transportation going into operation. 

This area is planned to become the new economic – financial center of the city with a lot of key projects. The advantage of the fast connections to central District 1, District 7, Binh Thanh District, District 9 and the synchronous development of transportation infrastructure, District 2 has been the attraction for many investors, large domestic and foreign property companies with a range of modern urban areas, the high-end residential areas offering to the market the range of products of luxurious villas and apartments which are suitable for the customers.

Thu Thiem new urban area

The project is planned to become the new financial center – the symbol of the South East Asia, in the near future, the Thu Thiem new urban area will become the great place to live in Vietnam with the elements: 50% of the area is water and greenery, so the air is very cool and fresh. There are many senior utility systems with the public works, it takes 3 minutes to move to the center of District 1. This will have a lot of representative offices of the company or the multinational corporation. Therefore, about 3-5 years later, this area will gather many residents such as senior managers or foreigners. The cluster of three urban of Rach Chiec – Saigon Sports City – Him Lam City

It is opposite the highway of Ho Chi Minh City-Long Thanh – Dau Giay near the An Phu intersection. This is the cluster of urban is planned completely with the new development by the famous investors. It owns 2 great advantages that is located near the Thu Thiem new financial center (3 minutes to move) and near the high-tech area of District 9 (5 minutes to move) and the Saigon Silicon. The two regions will focus on a lot of entrepreneurs, professionals and senior engineers. When it is completed, the needs of renting or buying the apartment will rise. The equipment of full senior amenities (park, international schools, international hospitals, commercial center…) near the Rach Chiec sports center (where will organize the international level sporting events), the synchronous infrastructure with the low price, Thu Thiem Center is a good choice for customers in the middle class.

The Thanh My Loi residential area

It has the extremely privileged location bordering the Saigon River, Mai Chi Tho Avenue and it is also the administrative center of the District 2. It takes only 3 minutes to move to Thu Thiem. However, this place still has not developed as expected because Dong Van Cong – the main road routes usually have many containers moving. However, the city had planned to improve this situation such as the construction of the inside ring road for the containers and the construction of riverside road route linking Diamond Island with Mai Chi Tho Avenue. When it is built, Thanh My Loi area will quickly develop with its potential. This area will attract many foreigners living thanks to the good environmental quality, convenient transportation and the location near the Thu Thiem center.
