The residential land limit for households and individuals in districts 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, Go Vap, Binh Thanh, Phu Nhuan, Tan Binh and Tan Phu shall not exceed 160 sqm / household.
Districts 2, 7, 9, 12, Binh Tan, Thu Duc and townships of districts of Binh Chanh, Hoc Mon, Cu Chi and Nha Be no more than 200sqm / household; The urban development planning area shall not exceed 250 sqm / household.
Can Gio District and rural residential areas in the communes of Binh Chanh, Hoc Mon, Cu Chi, Nha Be districts will not exceed 300 m2 / household. (The new regulation specifically supplements communes in four districts. Other levels remain unchanged area)
In the case of land parcels with gardens and ponds, which were formed from December 18, 1980 to before July 1, 2004, and current users have one of the types of land use right certificates prescribed in Article 100 of the Land Law, which does not clearly state the area of residential land, the area of residential land shall be determined as follows:
– In case the land area is larger than the limit recognized in accordance with the provisions of this Decision, the area of residential land shall be determined as one time of the recognition limit of residential land;
– Where the area of the parcel of land is smaller than the limit of recognition of residential land as prescribed, the area of residential land shall be determined as the whole area of the parcel of land.
Determining the area of garden and pond land for the remaining cases shall be based on the provisions of Clauses 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 of Article 103 of Land Law 2013 and Article 24 of Decree No. 43/2014. / ND-CP.

The quota of residential land applied to support people with meritorious services to the revolution of housing improvement remains unchanged according to the current decision:
