Thu Thiem 2 is expected to be completed in April 2018. The length of this bridge is 1.5km. The starting point of this bridge is the intersection of Le Duan Street and Ton Duc Thang Street. The last point of the project is at Vong Huy Boulevard – R1, District 2.
Thu Thiem III is being researched and proposed by the city in the direction of public-private partnership.
Accordingly, the starting point of Thu Thiem Bridge 3 will be located at Ton Dan Street, District 4. The bridge continues across Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, the area of the Rong – Khanh Hoi. Continue to cross the Saigon River to connect with Thu Thiem urban area.
Thu Thiem Bridge 4 will be designed with a stay cable. The bridge will be divided into 6 lanes. The investment capital of this project is around VND 5,200 billion. The length of this bridge is 2.16km. The head of this bridge is located in Thu Thiem new urban area. The last point will be at Nguyen Van Linh Boulevard – Tan Thuan Bridge 2.
The bridge project connecting districts 1 and 2 is designed to symbolize the S shape of Vietnam. The length of the pedestrian bridge is over 300m. The head of the bridge is Dong Khoi Street. The last point will be south of Thu Thiem Square.

Thu Thiem tunnel was built with a length of 1.49 km. This tunnel is considered as the most modern river crossing in Southeast Asia. The investment capital of Thu Thiem Tunnel is around VND5000 billion and has been put into use since 2011.
