District 2 is a district of Ho Chi Minh City, has Thu Thiem urbanization which is new financial and trade center of Ho Chi Minh City in the near future.

This is one of five districts located in the North East of Ho Chi Minh City.

The north is adjacent Thu Duc District.

The South is separated from District 7 by Saigon River, and separated from Nhon Trach, Dong Nai Province by Nha Be River.

The West is separated Binh Thanh District, District 1 and District 4 by the Saigon River from north to south in turn.

The east is adjacent District 9.

Most of the high-end apartments are located in District 2 because of its prime location and well-planned infrastructure. Grade A and B projects have accounted for 75% of the total number of projects in the region. Thanks to a variety of internal and external facilities, high-end projects are favored by a group of high intellectuals and foreigners.

This contributes to increase the value of real estate as well as bring high business performance to District 2.

Thu Thiem New Urban Area is one of the key attractions of District 2. The urban area of nearly 700 hectares includes residential areas, swimming pools, parks, offices and various facilities.
