The project, called MPavilion 2016, is a project started three years ago by the millionaire Naomi Milgrom (left). She chose the Indian architect, Bijoy Jain (Studio Mumbai) because his design was the community, sustainable and handcrafted.
Large quantities of bamboo, wooden pegs, lanyards are imported from India. The roof was built by craftsmen from the Karvi tree for four months.
In the middle of the MPavilion, there is a sky well as the connection between heaven and earth. “My goal is to choose the right materials, respect the nature and work with artisans to share design ideas,” Bijoy Jain said.
Outside the building is the Tazia Tower or appears at ceremonies in India. The architect wants to leave the mark of his homeland and create an invitation for people to come to this public space.
