The Overpass In Hai Phong Unused Has Subsidence, Cracking

The project is located on the traffic route connecting National $ 13,043,478.

The overpass at Nguyen Binh Khiem – Dinh Vu crossroads (Hai An district, Hai Phong city) has just been completed and has not been put into use. Pavement at the two ends leading to the cracks appears to stretch to 15 m, 3 cm wide. A crack was pouring asphalt but failed.

2/10, Mr. Vu Duy Tung, Director of Haiphong Transport Department (project investor), said that the actual inspection showed that the cracks caused by subsidence subsided; the main structure of the bridge has not been affected. The contractor is Bach Dang Construction Corporation explained by the unit is building the road on both sides of the bridge to dig deep foundation to 4m, encountered the time of rainstorms leading to the slope of the road.

Overpass at Nguyen Binh Khiem – Dinh Vu (Hai Phong) junction has not yet been put into use.

In order to rectify, the Department has requested the contractor to handle the cracks, and at the same time re-survey the geology as well as the structure of the project’s path, including the main part of the bridge to ensure that when it is put into use, large of safe passage. For handling options, the contractor must wait for the opinion of the designer.

The bridge crossing Nguyen Binh Khiem – Dinh Vu crossroads is located on the blood route linking national highway 5 with Hai Phong seaport system belonging to the investment project of upgrading the 356 section 2A, from the junction of Nguyen Binh Khiem to Dinh Vu dam. The total investment of the project is over $ 56,956,521; of which the bridge exceeds $ 13,043,478.

The bridge consists of 7 spans with a total length of 252.2 m, width 18.5 m, for 4 lanes, the upper structure using reinforced concrete hollow reinforced concrete girder. The project was started on 3/3/2017, expected to be completed after 6 months, but delayed due to ground clearance work difficult.
