At the scene, the crane is nearly 100 m long and crosses from the building to the other side of the house, breaking the turn. The roofs of three inns and a damaged wooden shop, collapsed roof.
According to the people, around 3 am in the morning of 7 March, cranes operating in the Topaz Home apartment project suddenly collapsed. Many of the people who were sleeping in the house heard loud noises on the roof so they ran away.
“I was with my sleeping family when I heard the loud sound. Frightened, I shouted to everyone and then ran out the door to see the crane collapsed. I come near the crane, the man in the control room fell to the ground seriously, “- said Tuan.
Topaz Home Apartment project by Thuan Kieu Agriculture Service and Trading Joint Stock Company as the investor. Development and distribution of the project are Van Thai Land Company.
Topaz Home is built in an area of 14,770 sqm, comprising eight 20-storey blocks with 1,172 apartments. Phase one consists of three blocks A1, B1, A4 with 450 apartments with an area of 43.5-69 sqm.

Phase two consists of two blocks C1, C2 with the apartment area of 43.4-69 sqm. The remaining three blocks, investors have not disclosed information. Currently, blocks A1, B1, A4 are under construction on the second floor, blocks C1 and C2 are under construction on the first floor.
Expected, in the third quarter of 2018, Topaz Home apartment project will hand over.
