Khanh Hoa Drastically Directed Treatment Of ALMA Project Problems

ALMA’s legal representative confirmed that the project is still in progress and that the project will be completed by the end of 2018.

In addition, the provincial People’s Committee also assigned the Department of Tourism to coordinate with the Department of Justice, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Information and Communications, the Lawyers’ Association, the Association of Consumer Protection and other branches and localities. Involve working directly with Paradise Bay Co., Ltd. on the content of the holiday ownership contract to rectify and correct wrongdoings (if any), at the same time, information should be widely advised to the public, should consult specialized agencies and lawyer’s organizations before signing to avoid damage and risk.

Accordingly, on August 28, at the headquarters of the Justice Department of Khanh Hoa province, a working session on issues related to the ALMA project was held. The meeting was held on the basis of the petition to inspect and inspect the ALMA project to the Khanh Hoa People’s Committee of Truong Anh Tu Law Firm.

At this meeting, the main content discussed by the parties was about the legitimacy of the ALMA Company’s “vacation ownership” as well as mistakes in the areas of specialized state management.

Also at the meeting, the Department of Justice asked the ALMA representative to clarify the issues: how many contracts have been signed before the license (the license to build each item, before the last permit, how many items are constructed,  have the construction as the license is granted or not).

How many apartments are qualified to provide services to customers under the signed contracts; How many customers are using the service when signing the contract, after contract customers are kept 1 copy under the agreement or not? With the current construction progress, the company must demonstrate the financial capacity, the ability to mobilize resources to ensure that by the end of 2018, there will be 200-400 apartments qualified for customers.

Prior to this request, the ALMA requested to send a detailed written reply to the relevant departments. Regarding the progress of the project, the legal representative of ALMA stated that the project still ensures progress and that by the end of 2018 it will complete the project investment.

In addition to the commitment of the investor, there is no guarantee that by the end of 2018 this project will have enough apartments to supply to customers.

It is known that after the meeting on 28/8, issues discussed and discussed at the meeting of the participants will be compiled into a document sent to the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa. The representative of the Department of Justice requests departments to provide written the clarification on issues that the Department of Justice asked the parties and comments in the meeting before September 10.

Talking to reporters, lawyer Tran Duc Phuong – who attended the workshop of ALMA organization said: ALMA is the deliberately misleading customer is a project located in Nha Trang city.

However, Khanh Hoa province has two cities, Nha Trang City and Cam Ranh City, and there are also two places called 2 airports. Therefore, ALMA staff when introducing the project easily equates.
